COLLABORATION SATURDAY - Dior 605 Amazonia - Dior Golden Jungle Collection for Fall 2012

And again ist Saturday. Collaboration Saturday with Maria from Danmark.

I know, I'm a bit late today. Frankly speaking I forgot to prepare the post for today, for I'm now starting to move to another city and I got so many things to do and think about. So, sorry,  but I got now time to loose, for this morning I started packing already - here it is: Dior Amazonia from the Golden Jungle Collection for Fall 2012.

 

 

Application was easy and it gives full opacity with 2 coats. Drying time is short and a topcoat is not needed.

I'm now curious to see what Maria has prepared for today. I'm almost sure, it's not a Dior.

COLLABORATION SATURDAY - Estée Lauder Fallen Angel

...that's what I am ;D....

Eventhough I basically stopped blogging for the next time, it's still Collaboration Saturday with Maria.

Of course I still have many unswatched high end polishes, like i.e. some very rare ones, like i.e. Chanel Cassis, which I grabbed from a blogsale, but unfortnuately no time to take any pics. So today again, I'll be showing you some older swatches. Old of course, may be fantastic too - gorgeous red cream polish by Estée Lauder. I really love this colour, for it's really red, but not to loud. Have a look by yourself.

Orly Mint Mojito - Orly Tiki Time Collection Summer 2009

...na, denn Prost....

Es ist Hochsommer, dies ist eine Sommerfarbe und der Post war schon ewig vorbereitet. Also bitte sehr.

Um Weihnachten hatte ich diesen Lack bekommen. Mint Mojito hat zwar mit Weihnachten herzlich wenig zu tun. Rein theoretisch könnte man natürlich an Weihnachten auch einen Mint Mojito zu sich nehmen, aber ich weiß nicht so recht. Mr. Mint Mojito zog mit dem Hintergedanken an Nailarts bei mir ein und er dürfte sich nicht nur als Basis für eine Blumenwiese, sondern auch für 'Christbaumschmuck' ganz gut machen. Natürlich kann man ihn auch so tragen und die Farbe steht mir zugegebenermaßen besser als erwartet, obwohl ich wenn ich das Wort 'mint' nur höre, sich meist schon meine Nackenhaare sträuben.

Richtig 'mint' ist Mint Mojito allerdings nicht nicht, sondern ehr pfefferminzig. Soll heißen, daß sein Grünton zwar irgenwie noch in den Bereich der Minttöne fällt, der Farbton aber schon so kräftig ist, daß man ihn auch schlicht als Hellgrün bezeichnen könnte.

 

 

 

 

 

Der Auftrag war einfach und der Lack deckt mit 2 Schichten, die ich auch für die Bilder aufgetragen habe. Die Trocknung ist gut und einen Topcoat braucht er nicht unbedingt.

Dior Rouge 999 aka Rouge Altesse aka Red Royality - Dior Standard Collection

...just I wanted to know...

It's Saturday and because I have not yet completely retired from blogging it goes on with Maria's and my Collaboration Saturday.

Last week I didn't show any red, so it's time for a red, which is a real stunning red and of course by Dior. Like most Dior polishes it has an english name too, which is Red Royality. But these were it's names before it was relaunched as Red 999.  Well 'nomen est omen' and it really keeps it's promise. It's a real french royal red, which exactely matched with the english car I formerly had.

 

 

Application was easy and it gives full opacity with 2 coats. Drying time is short and a topcoat is not needed.

I'm now curious to see what Maria has prepared for today. I'm almost sure, it's not a Dior.

COLLABORATION SATURDAY - Chanel 717 Coquelicot - Chanel Mediterrané Collection for Summer 2015

...little red rooster...
It's time again for Maria's and my Collaboration Saturday.
Today - finally, enfin, endlich - I'm in position to show you the promised 717 Coquelicot, which was waiting to be swatched for almost one month. Frankly speaking there isn't much to say about this polish, except that Coquelicot is one more fantastic red made by Chanel. It's a truly rich creme with a glossy finish and slight hints of orange. Stunning.

 

 

 

Application was easy and it gives full opacity with 1 - 2 coats. Drying time is short and a topcoat is not needed.
I'm now wondering what Maria has prepared for today. I'm almost sure, it's Chanel too.

COLLABORATION SATURDAY - Chanel 561 Suspicious - Chanel Les Essentiels Collection for Fall 2012

...I'm really suspicious...

And again it's time for Maria's and my Collaboration Saturday.

And again, I had no time to make any swatches. Always on the run and so many things to be done in order to restart my life, with the few means I have. So still no little red rooster, aka Chanel Coquelicot, because other things do really have priority. So instead I'm going to show you another gorgeous polish, in a colour, which was missing on my blog last week: Pink. To be accurate, a reddish pink.

 

 

Application was easy and it gives full opacity with 2 coats. Drying time is short and a topcoat is not needed.

I'm wondering what Maria has prepared for today. Chanel too?

Rescue Beauty Lounge Cerise Noir

...Mon Chéri Lack...

"Think black cherries wrapped in dark chocolate. Decadant, luscious, and just a bit dangerous."

Obiges ist die Aussage von RBL, resp. die von Fr. Beak. Ach, diesen Lack wollte ich schon haben, als er noch Moulin Rouge hieß. Plötzlich verschwand er aus dem Programm und irgendwann mal wurde er durch Cerise Noir ersetzt. Gleiche Farbe, nur anderer Name. Bei einer der letzten RBL Bestellungen *hust*, letztes Jahr, durfte er dann, nachdem ich mir sicher war, daß es die gewünschte Nuance ist.

Die gewünschte Nuance ist ein dunkles geschwärztes wunderbar vampiges Rot. <3

COLLABORATION SATURDAY - Chanel 455 Lotus Rouge - Chanel Fall Collection 2007

...one more red...

It's time again for our - Maria's and my - Collaboration Saturday.

Well, unfortunately all my frantic efforts to finally making the swatches of Coquelicot have failed again. Bad weather, no time and being on the run from my (still) husband made it really impossible. So as a substitute, after a rather dark and blueish 'blogging-week' another beautiful classic red by Chanel.

The colour of Lotus Rouge is a dark medium red, with a slight blueish touch. I really love this one.

 

 

Application was easy and it gives full opacity with 2 coats. Drying time is short and a topcoat is not needed.

I'm now curious to see what Maria has prepared for today. May be a red too?

COLLABORATION SATURDAY - Estée Lauder Black Iris - Estée Lauder Violet Undergroud Collection Fall 2012

...black flowers...

It's Saturday and 3 p.m. - time again for Maria's and my Collaboration Saturday.

Today once again no Dior and no Chanel and frankly speaking once more I'm unable to keep my promise, posting the seond new summer polishes from Chanel. So I decided to show you Black Iris from the Violet Underground Collection by Estée Lauder, which is aready waiting for quite a long time to be posted. I really love this kind of shades and I can't get enough of them. Consequently I got this kind of colour from various brands, like i.e. Orly, Priti NYC, China Glaze, Chanel and Dior, but in this case too much is not enough.

The colour of Black Iris is a blackened deep dark cherry creme. So gorgeous.

 

 

 

 

Application was smooth and easy and it gave full opacity with  2 coats. Drying time was short and a topcoat is not really necesssary.

Now I'm curious, what Maria has prepared for today. May she'll be posting Estée Lauder too?

COLLABORATION SATURDAY - Chanel 727 Lavanda - Chanel Mediterrané Collection for Summer 2015

It's time again for Collaboration Saturday with Maria

Last week I promised already to show the first of the two polishes I had chosen from above mentioned collection and I finally succeeded to take the pics of one of them. 727 Lavanda. Unfortunately actually I have a problem with Blogger: you know that usually my pics are really accurate, but the upload really turns them into crap. I already complained various times to blogger, but frankly speaking I got that impression, that since I'm complaining, the quality of my pics became even worse. But anyway, here it is: Chanel Lavanda. Not really lavender as the name promises, but a fantastic violet.

COLLABORATION SATURDAY - CHANEL 159 Fire

...Fire, burn...

It's time again for our  - Maria's and my - Collaboration Saturday.

After having showen you all that adrenaline from the Orly Adrenaline Rush Collection the entire week, I decided to set you on fire today. Of course I already got the 2 polishes, which I have chosen from the new Chanel Mediteranée Collection, but unfortunately I had no time yet to take pictures of them. So next week, may be I can show you Lavanda or Coqueliquot - in case the weather is going to be fine.

So Fire is one of the goregeous classical reds by Chanel.
